CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. - The Defiance College wrestling program wrapped up the 2018-19 season at the 2019 NCAA DIII Central Regional Tournament on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets headed to Wabash College for the competition, finishing 18 of 19 as a team. Rosendo Beltran (Toledo/Central Catholic) was the high finisher for DC, taking home an 8th place finish in the 125 pound class.

The Yellow Jackets first took on hosts Case Western Reserve, falling in a nail-biting contest, 23-20. The Jackets looked for redemption in the second dual of the day, taking on Kent State Tuscarawas. DC prevailed in the contest with a final team score of 38-8.
