Defiance Cross Country sets fall 2026 schedule
DEFIANCE, Ohio – The 2026 slate for the Defiance College men's and women's cross country programs has been set, the athletic department announced on Tuesday.
This fall, the Yellow Jackets will compete in six events across the tri-state region with the final leg of the year at the conference championship. DC will spend its first three weeks of competition within the borders of the Buckeye State, beginning with a trek to Bluffton on Sept. 4. The next two Fridays will see the Purple and Gold travel to Wilberforce and Cedarville before a Saturday morning to Adrian, Mich. for UM-Dearborn's XC Invitational to complete September's schedule. The lone October event on the schedule sends Defiance to Bethel University's XC Invitational in South Bend as the last tune-up before the WHAC Championship on the second weekend of November.

Sept. 18 at All-Ohio XC Meet, Hosted by Cedarville, 6 p.m.
Sept. 26 at Michigan-Dearborn XC Invitational (Adrian, Mich.), 9:30 a.m.
Oct. 9 at Bethel University Invitational, 2:30 p.m.
Nov. 11 at WHAC Cross Country Championship
