DC Cross Country runs at Siena Heights
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Defiance College cross country teams raced in their third meet of the season.
The men's team ran an 8K and finished 12th among 12 teams. Jake Stephens led the team with a time of 33:47, nearly six minutes faster than the rest of the team.
On the women's side, they ran a 6K race for the first time this year. The Jackets finished 11th of 11 and were led by Adeline Niyonkunda, who finished the race in 26:50.
Aquinas swept the meet as a team in both the men's and women's races. The Saints had the women's individual champ while Madonna had the top finisher in the men's 8K.
