Jackets Compete at All-Ohio Championships

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Defiance College women's cross country team participated in the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships at the Delaware Golf Club on Friday, October 10. The Jackets accumulated 501 points on their way to a 17th-place finish in the women's Div. III race. 

Sophomore Kaitlin Switzer led the way for DC, finishing the 5K course in 21:50. Kelly Neff and Amanda Zimmerman were the next two Jackets to cross the line, finishing less than a minute apart in 23:13 and 23:52 respectively. Courtney Swabb completed the course in 24:57, while Aubrie Ridinger rounded out Defiance's top five with a time of 26:31.

DC returns to action on Saturday, October 18, when it competes in the Oberlin Invitational.
