Volleyball Posts DC's Highest Team GPA of Spring Semester

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College volleyball program was recently recognized for posting the best team grade-point average among all of DC’s 21 varsity athletic programs during the 2011 spring semester.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College volleyball program was recently recognized for posting the best team grade-point average among all of DC's 21 varsity athletic programs during the 2011 spring semester.

The volleyball team turned in a combined GPA of 3.64, with 14 members registering a 3.00 or higher. That list included 10 student-athletes boasting grade-point averages of at least 3.70 and four with perfect marks of 4.00.

The 3.64 team GPA marks the highest for the Defiance College volleyball program for any semester during head coach David Kwan's eight-year tenure with the Yellow Jackets.
