RICMOND, Ind. - The Defiance College volleyball team picked up its second straight Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday, with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20) win over Earlham.

ADA, Ohio – The Defiance College volleyball team fell in the final two matches of the Ohio Northern University Invitational. In game one, the Yellow Jackets lost to No. 12 Heidelberg, 3-0 (14-25, 12-25, 15-25). In game two, the Jackets dropped a hard-fought match against Thiel, 3-2 (26-28, 22-25, 25-16, 25-18, 12-15.)
ADA, Ohio – The Defiance College volleyball team slipped in its opening match of the season, 3-1 (19-25, 26-24, 25-16, 26-24), to Ohio Northern University on day one of the ONU Invitational.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2011 preseason volleyball poll on Thursday. Defiance College was picked seventh in the preseason poll, and four members of the team were selected to the HCAC Preseason Watch List.
