Women's Tennis Falls on Opening Day of Spring Break

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Defiance College women's tennis team fell on the opening day of its spring break trip against Baldwin Wallace 9-0 in Hilton Head S.C.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Defiance College women's tennis team fell on the opening day of its spring break trip against Baldwin Wallace 9-0 in Hilton Head S.C.

Defiance was led in doubles action by number one doubles junior Hannah Hesterman (Archbold) and junior Cayla Walker (Archbold) falling, 8-4.

In singles action, Defiance Hesterman battled tough before falling 6-3, 6-4 in number one singles. The Yellow Jackets also battled tough at number two singles before falling 6-2., 6-3.

The Yellow Jackets return to action Monday, March 5 as they take on Penn St.-Harrisburg at 2:30 p.m.
