Bio

Stephen Jenkins heads into his second year with the Yellow Jackets after he joined the staff the assistant coach beginning with the 2024 season. The 2025 campaign is his seventh year of college coaching experience.

Prior to DC, Jenkins spent two seasons from 2022-23 at Schreiner University as a women’s soccer assistant coach for the NCAA Division III program in Kerrville, Texas. In his first year with the program, Schreiner reached the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament. Before his time in the Lonestar State, Jenkins spent two years as a graduate assistant at Cal State Bakersfield before serving as the head coach at Cerro Coso Community College in California. He started coaching college soccer as a women’s soccer assistant at Millikin University in 2017. While coaching in Decatur, Ill., he also coached soccer at Eisenhower High School.
 
Jenkins played four years of college soccer at NAIA Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa. A native of Huntington, W.Va., Jenkins earned his undergraduate degree in communications from Waldorf in 2017 and went on to complete his master’s in public administration from CSU Bakersfield.
