During her first season at the helm, the Yellow Jackets had the first 2-0 start in program history following season-opener wins over Eureka and Mount Mary. By picking up two ties, the team's 12 losses were the fewest since 2013 while picking up two All-Conference selections. Defiance finished winless in the team's first season at the NAIA level but continued to display academic excellence from the women's soccer program under Danner's tutelage. Now in three seasons under Danner, Defiance has seen 15 student-athletes receive Academic All-Conference honors. In Coach Danner's third season, the Yellow Jackets improved to 3-14-1 and included a record-setting 12-0 win over Andrews on Sept. 8.

A native of Metamora, Ill., Isabelle played four years of collegiate soccer for the Trinity Trojans and was an all-conference and all-regional player while serving as a two-time captain and earning several academic awards off the pitch. In 2016, she scored 13 goals in 19 games and was named NCCAA National Player of the Week with the first of two four-goal games for TIU that season.

After earning her bachelor's degree in elementary education, Danner joined the coaching staff at Trinity International as a graduate assistant in 2019. She was elevated to an assistant coaching position after finishing her graduate work in December 2021 and served in that capacity for two seasons. Danner also held the interim head coaching position shortly after becoming an assistant. She also aided the TIU athletic department's compliance and travel as the Athletics Coordinator during her final full year at the institution.
