The first goal of the day came from an Aquinas header off a set play from just outside the penalty box. Korienek found a soft spot in Defiance's defense and struck for her second goal from eight yards out four minutes later. The Saints poured in nine goals in the second half, which included Korienek finishing her hatrick in the 57th minute. Aquinas had a hot streak in the middle of the half, swelling a 5-0 lead to 9-0 in just four minutes.
