Tigers and Yellow Jackets end in 0-0 tie
DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Yellow Jackets and Grace Christian Tigers ended in a 0-0 draw at Winsper-Knobel Memorial Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Defiance and Grace Christian played to a scoreless first half, with both defenses setting the tone. The teams combined for seven shots on goal, as Tiger goalkeeper Kenna Hill made three saves and Yellow Jackets keeper Hannah Redick added four. Freshman Tatum Oberhauser generated two strong chances for the Purple and Gold, but neither found the net, sending the match into halftime tied at 0-0.
The trend continued into the second half as 12 more shots headed towards the goal, though none were successful and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
