Lowell earns All-HCAC Honorable Mention nod

CARMEL, Ind. - Defiance College senior Rachel Lowell (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) has been named All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention by the league's coaches, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.

Lowell is a two-time Tom Bohlsen Academic All-HCAC team selection. As a goalkeeper, she has posted a 2-2-1 career record with a shutout and 40 total saves. She also has played in the field as a forward and midfielder, logging a goal on 11 shots.

Lowell was chosen to represent the Yellow Jackets by the league's coaches.
