Defiance Women’s Golf locks in fall tournament schedule

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College women's golf will compete in six events this fall as the program rolled out the first half of its 2026-27 competition schedule on Wednesday. 

The Yellow Jackets will begin and end the fall season with home invitationals alongside the men's program. DC will host the Fall Invitational on Aug. 30-31 at Auglaize Golf Club and finish the fall schedule on Oct. 18-19 at Ironwood Golf Course. 

Defiance will have a busy September with four road matches. The first will be a visit to Trine on the heels of their two-day opening tournament on Sept. 1 followed by a trip to Liberty, Ind. for the Randy Sadler Invitational hosted by Earlham. Two weeks later, DC will play 72 holes in four days, beginning with a single-day event hosted by Lawrence Tech on Sept. 25. On Sept. 27-28, the WHAC's women's golf programs will descend on Stonehenge North Golf Course for the 2026 Fall Preview that features 54 holes across the two-day tournament.
