Women's golf preps for conference tournament at LTU Spring Shootout
YORKTOWN, Ind. - Defiance College women's golf played its final regular season tournament on Monday and Tuesday with a 54-hole tournament at the Lawrence Tech Spring Shootout held at The Players Club at Woodland Trails.
The Yellow Jackets placed 9th after not registering a team score in Tuesday's final round due to a pair of withdrawals, giving the team just 3 countable scores in the final round. UNOH took the team title by 6 strokes over Grace College, shooting a combined 959 over the 3 rounds while the Racers' Molly Douglas earned medalist honors by 9 strokes over second place.
Magen Hines was the top finisher for the Yellow Jackets with a 3-round total of 283. She was the lone DC golfer below 100 in all 3 rounds.
