DEFIANCE, Ohio – On Tuesday night in the first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game of the 2019-20 season for both teams, the Defiance College women’s basketball squad got a game-winning shot from Taylor Day (West Mansfield, Ohio/North Union) with less than a second left to defeat the Anderson University (Ind.) Ravens, 56-54, inside the Karl H. Weaner Community Center.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - With a week since last taking the court for competitve action, the Defiance College women's basketball team made the trip to Saint Mary's College on Saturday afternoon. After a close battle for much of the afternoon, a high-scoring fourth quarter saw the Belles pull away for a 56-53 victory.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College women’s basketball team heads into the upcoming 2019-20 season with nine returning letterwinners from last year who are joined by 11 freshmen. Entering his second campaign as head coach at Defiance, Allan King Jr. is looking for his Yellow Jackets to improve on their records from last season, which were 10-17 overall and 8-10 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

OLIVET, Mich. - The Defiance College women's basketball team tipped-off the 2019-20 season on road Wednesday evening. The Yellow Jackets under the direction of second-year Head Coach Allan King, Jr. traveled to take on the Olivet College Comets and fell by a final score of 64-50.
