White, Price, Stucke Honored as All-HCAC Selections
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its 2010 All-HCAC selections on Wednesday, March 3. Defiance College’s Mandie White and Shavonda Price both received the All-HCAC nod, with DC’s Tasha Stucke receiving an All-HCAC Honorable Mention.

White, Price and Stucke were consistently productive throughout the season as they led the Lady Jackets to a 17-10 record, marking the program's winningest season since 2003-04, and their first HCAC Tournament appearance since the 2005-06 campaign.
White's selection marks the third time in her distinguished career to receive All-HCAC recognition, and comes in the wake of an outstanding senior campaign in which she became the 13th leading scorer in the history of the program with 1,126 career points. White's senior year also included being named to the Adrian Tip-off and Hubbard Co. – Pro Rehab All-Tournament Teams, and twice being selected as the HCAC Player-of-the-Week. She ended the season ranked fourth in the conference in both points (386) and field goal percentage (55.7), and ranked third in rebounds (241) and steals (55).
Price received the honor for the second time in as many years after finishing second on the team in both points and rebounds. The South Side High School product was a defensive playmaker, racking up the most steals in the conference, with 66 takeaways, and the third highest block total (41). Price's sophomore campaign included being named the Hubbard Co. – Pro Rehab Tournament MVP, receiving D3hoops.com Team-of-the-Week honors for Dec. 14-20, and concluded with being named to the a HCAC All-Tournament Team.
Stucke's junior season marks the third consecutive year the Coldwater, Ohio, native has led the team in assists. Her 108 assists led not only the team, but the entire conference, and she finished the season ranked 13th in the nation in assist to turnover ratio (2.0). Stucke took on more of a scoring role than in years past during the 2009-10, posting 9.3 points per game while placing fourth in the HCAC in three-pointers made. The point guard also made a major impact defensively, nabbing 58 steals to rank second in the conference in takeaways.
