DC defeated by Rochester Christian in dual match

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The Defiance Yellow Jackets were defeated in WHAC men's wrestling action at Rochester Christian, losing to the Warriors 36-9 in a dual match at Garth Pleasant Arena on Wednesday.

As the Yellow Jackets fall to 4-6 in duals and 1-5 in WHAC duals, Defiance picked up points in 2 of 7 contested bouts. Drew Matthews improved to 7-3 in dual competition with a 6-4 win at 149. Connor Sintobin accounted for the Purple and Gold's other victory when he pinned his opponent in the second period at 197, his third of the year.
