Men's Track and Field Has Six Honored by HCAC

Aaron Schwarzbek (Sherwood/Fairview) earned second-team All-HCAC honors after finishing in a tie for second-place in the high jump with a leap of 6' 3.25". Clayton Bruggeman (St. Henry), Courtney Lyn-Kew (West Palm Beach, Fla. /Royal Palm Beach), Jacob Rindler (St. Henry), Colin Krick (Hicksville/Antwerp Local) and Joshua Petro (Ocala, Fla. /The Villages) were all tabbed honorable mention.
The distance medley team of Bruggeman, Lyn-Kew, Rindler, and Krick finished third overall with a time one 11:01.91. Petro also finished in third in the weight throw event with a toss of 50" 1". Petro was also recognized as a member of the All-Sportsmanship team.
The Yellow Jacket track and field team will open up their outdoor season on Mar. 19 when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete in the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Early Bird Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
