ANDERSON, Ind. – After a successful showing last week at Anderson University, three individuals went back for a finale showing.
Joe Davis (Ontario, Ohio / Ontario), Troy Parrett (Cedarville, Ohio / Cedarville), and Josh Hilton (Antwerp, Ohio / Antwerp) all made the trip back to Anderson to compete in the Fred Wilt Invitational.
Davis continued to shine in his distance game. In the one mile race, he again broke his own Defiance College record time. Davis finished with a 4:17.02 on his way to getting first place in the race.
In the 800-meter dash, Parrett had a good showing. He picked up third place with a time of 1:57.62. Parrett was the fastest Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference runner in the 800-meter dash.
Finally, Hilton competed in 5,000-meter run for the Yellow Jackets. Continuing the trend of success at the meet for DC, he finished in fifth place. His time of 15:34.72 was the second fastest HCAC time at the Fred Wilt Invitational.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Friday in Kenosha, Wis. for the Gill Athletic Final Qualifier.
