Defiance Begins 2011 Season With Loss at Baldwin-Wallace
BEREA, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s tennis program got its 2011 campaign underway on Saturday with a 9-0 setback at Baldwin-Wallace.
BEREA, Ohio – The Defiance College men's tennis program got its 2011 campaign underway on Saturday with a 9-0 setback at Baldwin-Wallace. The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on March 2, when they travel to Trine for a 4:00 pm start.
DC failed to record a single victory in the season opener, as the host Jackets secured their third-straight 9-0 triumph to open the spring campaign. B-W swept through doubles action, before taking all six singles competitions in straight sets.
Defiance's home opener is slated for March 19, when it welcomes Hanover to the Dix Tennis Facility for an 11:00 am match.
