Yellow Jackets not able to hand Capital first loss
BEXLEY, Ohio - Defiance went into unbeaten Capital on Saturday afternoon. Though they battled hard they couldn’t quite get the breaks they needed to get the win, falling by a score of 2-0.

BEXLEY, Ohio - Defiance went into unbeaten Capital on Saturday afternoon. Though they battled hard they couldn't quite get the breaks they needed to get the win, falling by a score of 2-0.
Luke Bobst and R. G. Florey got the goals for Capital, both coming in the first half. It took Bobst not even five minutes to make his mark on the game, scoring at the 4:58 mark for what was the game winning goal. Florey scored his a short 12 minutes later.
Defense for both sides controlled the rest of the way. The Defiance defense was able to hold Capital to just five shots on goal the entire game. Though DC only got four shots on goal on the other side.
Drew Metz was able to get two shots on goal for Defiance, but just couldn't find the net. The Yellow Jackets play again tomorrow at 2 pm at Muskingum.
