Senior Alex Miday Lands in the Top 50 among NCAA Division III

DEFIANCE, OHIO - Senior Alex Miday finds himself ranked among the top 50 in NCAA Divsion III men's golf announced Friday afternoon. The senior is currently tied for 44th overall, the highest ranking by any Defiance College golfer in program history. 

The 2016 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player is the highest ranked among the conference with an average individual score of 72.5 stroke per round. He has tallied three top-ten finishes this season, including a third place finish at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial where he shot a season-best 70, two under par.

Defiance returns to action Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20 as they wrap-up the fall season with the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio.
