Eight Yellow Jackets named to MSFA All-Academic Team

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Mid-States Football Association announced its 2025-26 All-Academic Team on Wednesday with eight Defiance Yellow Jackets earning academic distinction.

Senior Cooper Sloan and junior Hunter Bentley earned their second straight MSFA All-Academic Awards while Tevin Lewis-Johnson, Christian Booker, Damon McCracken, Kyson Dickerson, Deveon Williams and Seth Navarre are first-time recipients. Since joining the conference, the Yellow Jackets have placed 17 players on the league's All-Academic Team.

To achieve MSFA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be a sophomore or above.

The MSFA produced over 300 student-athletes named to its All-Academic Team for the 2025 football season. Marian led all teams with 42 recipients followed by Siena Heights and Taylor with 35.
