Defiance College Football to Host Pink Game on Saturday

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletics program and football team will host a Pink Game on Saturday, October 27, when it takes on No. 21 Franklin inside the Justin F. Coressel Stadium at 2:00 pm. [Sports for the Cure Website]

The event is designed to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. All proceeds from the afternoon will go to Sports for the Cure, a Northwest Ohio affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Fans will be encouraged to purchase pink ribbons, bracelets and pom poms for one dollar each and donations will also be accepted. There will also be a raffle for a signed football helmet from the DC football team and two gift baskets from Sports for the Cure.
