DEFIANCE, Ohio For the second time in three years, a group of Defiance College student-athletes has earned a Community Service Award from the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators and Jostens. Eighteen institutions and/or conferences across the country are being recognized for the impressive community service projects performed by their student-athletes during the 2006-07 academic year.

WACO, Texas -- Defiance wide receiver Luke Dillon has been selected to play for the American Football Coaches Associations Division III all-star team that will represent the United States against the Mexican National Team in the 2007 Aztec Bowl on December 8 in Chihuahua, Mexico.
GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its All-Conference Teams recently and 12 Defiance players made the list. DC had seven student-athletes named First Team All-HCAC, while five others were named Second Team or Honorable Mention.

The No. 21 Grizzlies ended DCs HCAC title hopes by handing the Jackets a 55-22 loss on Saturday.

The All-American candidate chased down four touchdown passes and had 173 yards receiving as Defiance surged past Anderson, 34-7, on Saturday.
ANDERSON, Ind. -- Defiance College racked up well over 400 yards of total offense for the third-straight game and raced past Anderson for a 34-7 road victory on Saturday. The win was DCs third-straight victory and kept the Jackets tied with Franklin atop the HCAC standings.
