Bio
Craig Meinzer is entering his second year as the Yellow Jackets' hitting coach in 2025-26. He joined the DC staff ahead of the 2025 season as the team transitioned into the NAIA.
Coach Meinzer brings over two decades of coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, and travel levels. He previously served as head baseball coach at three Toledo-area high schools—Bowsher, Cardinal Stritch, and St. John’s Jesuit—earning Coach of the Year honors in 2013 and 2016, while guiding his teams to multiple league championships and a district title.
At the collegiate level, he spent three years as the hitting coach at NJCAA Division III Owens Community College before joining Lourdes University in 2017, then returned to St. John’s Jesuit as head coach in 2018. Beyond high school and college programs, he has coached American Legion baseball for eight years, leading a team to the 2008 state tournament, and has worked extensively with travel baseball organizations. Most recently, he took on a leadership role with the Ohio Canes Gold 17U team, serving as assistant and later head coach in 2024.
