Sophomore (2018-19): Competed for a second season for both the DC football and indoor and outdoor track and field teams at DC... Saw action in all 10 football games, earning Second Team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference accolades as a defensive back... Credited with 54 tackles (44 solos), four interceptions and 13 pass breakups... Also had a blocked kick and tackle for loss... Easily led the squad in pass breakups while finishing tied for the team lead in interceptions, third in solo tackles and fifth in total tackles... Sprinter, jumper and javelin thrower who participated in 14 track and field meets (seven outdoor and seven indoor)... Posted a personal record of 12.24 meters in the triple jump at the DC Invitational indoor meet on Jan. 26, 2019... Recorded a personal-record throw of 45.38 meters in the javelin at the Bob Kahn Invitational at Oberlin College on April 6, 2019.

Freshman (2017-18): Played on the DC football team in the fall and then again was a part of the track and field squad... Honorable mention All-HCAC pick in football... Over DC's final five contests, he tallied 24 tackles (16 solos), three interceptions and a team-best three fumble recoveries... Participated in nine outdoor and five indoor competitions... Came up with personal records of 7.23 in the 60-meter dash, 11.48 in the 100-meter dash, 23.04 over 200 meters and 6.01 meters in the long jump.

Prep: Graduate of Homer (Michigan) High School in 2017... Member of the National Honor Society... Received varsity letters in baseball (three), football (two) and basketball (two) for the Trojans... Standout wide receiver and defensive back in football... Honorable mention all-state selection at wide receiver by the Detroit Free Press his senior year... Also named All-Big 8 Conference and to the Battle Creek Enquirer All-Area Football Team in 2016... Caught 29 passes for 531 yards and had three interceptions, scoring 10 touchdowns, as a senior when his team went 8-3 overall with a conference championship... In 2017, his baseball squad won a conference title and reached the state quarterfinals, ending with a 36-6 overall record... FORT MYERS, Fla. – On Tuesday in the 30th Annual Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic at the Lee County Player Development Complex, the Defiance College baseball team picked up two one-run wins over the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors. Defiance won the opening game of the doubleheader, 3-2, before posting a 4-3 victory.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Coming off a solid season last year, the Defiance College baseball team looks to keep improving and be in the hunt for the 2020 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship. In 2019 – after being picked to finish last in the conference by the HCAC head coaches – Defiance went 23-16-1 overall. The Yellow Jackets tied for third place in the conference at 10-8 before making a strong run with two wins at the HCAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed.
