Defiance College celebrates Class of 2026 at annual commencement ceremony

DEFIANCE, Ohio - Defiance College celebrated the Class of 2026 at the Karl H. Weaner Center on Saturday with a total of 97 students taking part in DC's commencement ceremony.

The athletic department held a prominent role with 65 graduates who participated in athletics for at least one season while earning their degrees. Out of those 65 student-athletes, 10 earned their master's degrees and 28 earned bachelor's degrees with honors.

Additionally, four-year volleyball player Kirsten Vanisacker was honored with the Bronze Pilgrim Medal, DC's highest honor bestowed upon a graduating student.
