Defiance College lands 30 student-athletes on the HCAC’s Fall Academic All-Conference Team

DEFIANCE, Ohio — Thirty student-athletes at Defiance College were recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference as Fall 2022 Tom Bohlsen Academic All-Conference selections. 

Varsity athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 at the end of the semester preceding the end of the fall season. A full academic year and full-time enrollment at the institution are additional requirements to be eligible for Academic All-Conference.

Defiance College's men's soccer program received the most honorees with 12. Women's soccer had nine athletes meet the mark while DC volleyball placed five and football supplied four honorees.

Among Defiance seniors and graduate students to earn Academic All-Conference were Austin Boles (men's soccer), Orry Killam (men's soccer), Seth Pearson (football), Abbi Rank (women's soccer), Cole Recker (football), Bri Snider (women's soccer), Chase Stiner (men's soccer) and Hope Yost (volleyball).
