Men's Tennis Picked Sixth in Preseason Poll

GREENWOOD, IND. -- The Defiance College men's tennis team was picked to finish sixth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll that was released on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets had 40 points, 10 points ahead of the last-place tie between Mount St. Joseph and Transylvania. Rose-Hulman was picked to win the conference with 76 points, edging Earlham by just two points.

The Defiance College men's tennis season is scheduled to start on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 5 p.m. as the Yellow Jackets host Baldwin Wallace University at the George M. Smart Center. The match is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. The HCAC portion of the schedule on Saturday, Mar. 17 with a trip to Terre Haute, Ind. for a match with Rose-Hulman.
