Football to Open 2018 Season with Albion

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Football team is set to open the 2018 season at the Justin F. Coressel Stadium on Sept. 1 with non-conference opponent Albion College. 

The Yellow Jackets will then play host to Hope College on Sept. 8 before taking to the road on Sept. 15 for its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener with Manchester University. 

The Purple and Gold will return to Justin F. Coressel Stadium on Sept. 22 for Anderson University and enter a bye week on Sept. 29.

Defiance will celebrate Homecoming on Oct. 6 with Franklin College and take to the road on Oct. 13 for a Conference matchup at Hanover. 

The Yellow Jackets will split the last half of its schedule playing host to Mount St. Joseph on Oct. 20 and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Oct. 27, before closing out the regular season with road contest at Earlham College on Nov. 3 and Bluffton University on Nov. 10. 

DC finished the 2017 season 2-8 overall and 2-6 in HCAC action with nine Yellow Jackets earning all-conference honors.
